Replace expensive business software with a version you own.
We build custom software around the features your team uses, for a fixed build price. You own the code and choose who maintains it.
- Fixed build price
- You own the code
- Optional ongoing care
Hosting, third-party usage, and maintenance still need a budget.
From a $30,000/year subscription to a $10,000 custom build.
A custom replacement for Kixie, bringing calling, texts, automations, and reporting into software the business controls.
Published project figures compare the build price with previous license fees. Telephony, hosting, maintenance, and migration also affect total cost.
Is your software worth replacing?
- Your team uses a small part of a much larger tool.
- Per-seat pricing makes every new hire more expensive.
- You keep working around features you can’t change.
Compare what you pay, the features you use, and the work your software makes harder. Sometimes a custom build makes sense. Sometimes keeping the subscription is better value.
How it works
Show us what you use.
Walk through your current software, the features you rely on, and what gets in your way.
Know what we’ll build.
Agree on the features, integrations, written scope, and fixed build price.
Review your software.
Review the build against your workflows. Plan the testing, data move, and launch around the agreed scope.
Take the keys.
Receive the code, accounts, and documentation. Choose your own developer or ongoing help from us.
Cancel the subscription. Keep the software.
Your team takes it from here.
Run the software on your infrastructure. Hand it to your own developer. Keep control of what changes next.
Or keep us in your corner.
Choose optional hosting, fixes, and updates. Cancel the care plan and keep the software.
The fixed build price covers the agreed software. Hosting, third-party services, usage, and maintenance are separate operating costs.

Is replacing my subscription actually worth it?
Not always. Compare the license cost and workflow limitations with the build, migration, and ongoing operating costs. A smaller subscription can be better value than custom software.
Will you rebuild every feature in my current software?
We scope the features your business needs, rather than the vendor’s entire feature list. We can also build a new tool around your workflow. A native mobile app is a separate requirement from a responsive web app and should be included in the scope if you need one.
Can you move our data without disrupting our business?
We review export options, data quality, and the way your team works before planning a transition. Keeping the current system running alongside the replacement can help with testing and rollout. The migration plan is part of the scope.
Can it connect to our other tools?
We check the APIs, permissions, and access available for each integration during scoping. For a dialer, keeping existing phone numbers also depends on carrier support and porting eligibility.
What do we own when the build is finished?
You own the custom code under the agreed terms. Handoff includes the repositories, accounts, and documentation. Third-party services have their own licenses, terms, and charges.
Who looks after the software after launch?
You can use your own developer or choose optional care from WeBuildInWeeks. We agree on maintenance responsibilities and support coverage separately, so you know who handles what.
What costs remain after the build?
Budget for hosting, third-party services, usage such as AI or telephony, and maintenance. Removing a vendor’s per-seat license does not remove every operating cost; infrastructure and usage can grow with your team.
Do we need a finished specification before we talk?
No. Bring the workflow you want to improve and the problem you want to solve. We help clarify the requirements and agree on a written scope before building.
What happens on the first call?
We talk through your current tools, what you want to change, and whether a custom build could make sense. Then we identify the next step and any information needed to scope the work.
Will we need a paid roadmap first?
Some well-defined projects can be scoped directly. More complex work may need a paid Software Replacement Roadmap to clarify the workflow, scope, and technical dependencies. We explain the deliverables, fee, and any build credit before you decide.
How long will the build take?
The schedule depends on the agreed features, integrations, migration, and any unresolved requirements. We discuss the delivery plan during scoping and identify what we need from your team.
How do pricing, payments, and later changes work?
The build has a fixed price for an agreed scope. We set out payment schedules and project terms in writing. If you want features outside that scope, we discuss the price and timing before adding them.
